Default Massive conversion idea

Been thinking that a 2001-2003 coupe looks a little bit like a 3/4 scale NSX . Anyone ever tried to convert the existing driveline, largely intact to a midships RWD set-up? Aside from fabrication of the firewall a new front axel, relocation of the fuel tank, and massive bodywork i think it could be done. Anyone ever tried it?

Of course, there are like 6-7 guys on here running RWD Accords.

All you need is a Harbor Freight 100 volt welder, tape measure, and a chop saw.

Conversion takes about 40-50 hours

Could be done, would cost a whole crapload of money, and 100s of hours.

If you are talking about using an NSX engine and transmission, good luck, those alone will probably cost you over $10,000. In a quick search I could only find one C32 for sale and it was $7,000. I couldn't find a 6 speed transmission for sale.

There was someone who did a rear engine/rwd C30/32 swap in a CRX. It was a sweet set up, but for the price of it I'm sure you could have bought a brand new sports car.
