hey guys, just recently started hearing almost a scraping sound, which at first i thought was my exhaust weld rattling, but when i pulled in and got out, i realized it's coming from under the hood somewhere, maybe low. i haven't had time to really take a look, but any idea what it is? my first thought was the CAT, but i'm not sure. it kinda sounds like if metal was scraping against concrete, but only at 2000rpm, and i assure you nothing's scraping.

PLEASE HELP ME.

 

Loose exhaust heatshields?

I'm not sure, but maybe 94 has the pipe-inside-a-pipe for the A-pipe (under the oil pan). If so, that may be buzzing internally.

Pinpoint the location as best you can.

 

thanks for the tip, that may be the case considering i just cracked my oil pan a bit, so i'll be looking there too.
