Thanks to everyone for the input. When we look Saturday, I'll check the p/s hose and look around the valve covers to see if it's leaking.
Yeah, the carb engine will kind of suck up here at 6600 feet in the winter, but since my 17-year-old is driving it -- I don't WANT it to go fast.

guys guys ,, if the oil leak drips in the exh manifold it is NOT THE REAR MAIN SEAL OR THE OIL PAN GASKET OR THE OIL FILTER ,, the exh manifold is located in the frt of the engine

Well, I called him today, all ready to take her to look at it. And he had sold it out from under us. This after he told me he wouldn't do that, that he'd wait for us to come see it.

Makes me wonder if he didn't mislead us about that leak, too.
