Exclamation Need Advise on Broken Timing Belt

I just bought a 92 standard accord off kijiji and Ive only been driving it for a week and before i could get it checked it died on me. what happened was i was coming home and just about to pull into my driveway when my car just died, i didn't know what happened cause music was up so i didn't hear anything, i tried to start it a couple times but it wouldn't catch. there was a big puddle under my car so we thought it was the radiator so we filled it and it leaked out, then i got a machanic to look at it and he said that my water pump went which made my timing belt go. also, a friend (whos almost as good as a machanic) said that i could have bent my headers... is this what could have happened and if so what would this cost me and is it even worth fixing, couse it was a half decently cheep car.

anything is appreciated

Broken timing belt can bend the valves, not the headers. That's a BIG repair job, so check whether they're REALLY bent. If they are, you may want to just replace the engine. Or the car...
