True .... both come with a quiet intake, but the 6 has twice the mufflers with only 50% more cylinders and less than 50% more displacement. I think the 6's intake is more restrictive for the flow also.

Yeah, like the others have said... Cabin noise is pretty quiet in my '06... of course I almost always have loud music goin' on. I travel 120 miles on I95 from home to college... I usually go between 70 and 80, and see RPMs of two and half, to just over three grand.

I have a 5 speed I4 sedan, btw.

If you worried about the noise turn up the radio LOL JK, If you want a great comfortable highway ride the v6 is for you, ITS very smooth and quiet yet powerful. LOVE that engine, hate the transmission. as you will notice problems within 100,000 miles. BUt my dad v6 tranny still works with 160,000 miles on it.

Yeah ..... the 6th Gen V6 tranny sucks ...... I may have to let go of mine sooner than I planned on since the tranny's starting to make sounds that I don't like ..... I have to do a multi-change and get a cooler on there to see if it's gonna be ok for a couple of years or not. If not I have to sell the car.

Id definitely go with 4cyl 5speed if you are looking for good gas mileage and dependability in a 6th gen accord. I think it is a very comfortable ride. I drove 5 straight hours in it several times with no stops and didn't even get cramped up or anything. 35mpg on that trip.
The trunk is huge too!
