Hey guys debating on what oil to use on my accord, Mobil 1 Synthetic
5W20, or Pennzoil Platinum 5w20. I always used Pennzoil Conventional on my accord, but I want to use the good stuff. Thanks Guys!

 

I'd search, there are a ton of threads on oil in here.

 

Personally, I'm a big fan of Valvoline.
On here, you will pretty much find personal preferences.
Go to bobistheoilguy.com for an enourmous amount of oil info.

 

Mobil 1 is great oil a buddy of mine has been running it for 50k miles in his 94 accord and everything under the valve cover is still clean as it was when it rolled off the line

 

Thanks guys I really appreciate your input, I bought a case of Mobil 1 today at Advance Autoparts, 5w20 weight, and will use it in my mom's
CR-V too. What do you think of the Purolator Pureone filter? I got one of those too. Everything on this car seems pretty accessible.

Royal Purple or Amsoil.

 

I'd go with royal purple man, I find that to be a little better than mobil 1.
