Oil return hose leak??
Oil return hose leak??
How do i replace this hose? It obviously looks bad to me and is VERY stiff. You can see where i tried to stop the leak with a worm clamp but failed. I don't want to take the oil pan off even though it needs a pan gasket...

A new hose will not be "rock hard" like the old one.....does mean you are going to destroy the old one getting it off. Suggest being careful so you don't knock chunks of the old hose into the oil pan.
