Default Possible swap question.

Well I have a 93 Accord SE (F22a6) and I was wondering what all possible swaps I could do on it.

I don't know a lot about the car and I want to know what motors will fit, and on top of that, what would be the best bang for the buck.

Also I want to convert it to a manual, so what transmission would I best off with?

Thanks.

Happy tuning.

Probably H22 would be the easiest/most common power making swap, but there is some modification required. And doing everything youself it would still probably run you $1500 maybe more in parts alone.

On the other hand you could go to a junkyard and get a manual trans. for like $150-$200, maybe another $100 for all the other parts needed to convert it to manual. Plus another $100-$150 for a new clutch. If you can find a junkyard that lets you take the parts off the donor car yourself usually you can get the parts dirt cheap. You will want to do this swap anyways if you put in the H22 because the extra hp will probably kill the pos auto trans. I believe that all the 4cyl manual transmissions from your generation accord(90-93) are the same and will all bolt right up to your engine.

Or you could put in a H series manual trans, which has shorter gears than the F series manual trans and will give you even more acceleration.
