Default Rear Engine Mount 96 Accord LX

Hello everybody,

I recently purchased a 1996 Honda Accord LX 2.2 L automatic transmission. It shake pretty bad when stopping, I've been told it's the rear engine mount that need to be replaced. The question I have is when looking for parts I've seen two types of mounts for the rear engine. One is with a solenoid valve and one is without. Which one is the right mount??

Thanks

If the car is shaking when applying the breaks then it's NOT your engine mounts it’s your rotors are warped. As for the engine mount one is yfor a auto tranny another the other is for a manual tranny if I'm thinking of the right mount.

It's the one with the solenoid Valve.

Sounds like you have a good diagnostic on this problem..also check those tires for a busted belt.
