2005 accord 4 cyl rear engine mount
#3
I have replaced rear motor mount on 94 Accord and while it was difficult, it is w/i range of most diy'rs. Your 05 Accord may be similar, but can't be sure.
I could not find any examples of a 2003-2007 Accord 4-cyl rear motor mount, so can't provide any informed guidance.
Are you sure the mount is defective? I used the following procedure to inspect and locate damage in rear mount of my 94EX.
1) W/ a helper firmly set e-brake and hold foot brake.
2) W/ trans in reverse pulse the accelerator to 1500-2000 rpm.
3) Observe rear motor mount for excessive movement and damage. It should stretch but not move more than perhaps 1" under load. Reverse pulls the mount in tension and will reveal defects.
good luck

In this Acura service bulletin, page 4, it shows the location of the rear mount for the TSX. Your Accord 4 cylinder has the same K24 engine block.

- Remove the 2 nuts that hold the rear mount stop (that piece that looks like an upside down U).
- Remove the 1 rear mount bolt (which runs through the center top of the engine mount) that is attached to the rear mount bracket. -- The 1 rear mount bolt is not shown in the Acura service bulletin; but, if you know how the mount looks like, you'll figure it out.
- Remove the 4 bolts holding the engine mount to the base.

On the 94 Accord the bracket from mount to engine must be removed also. I recollect three bolts to remove, but probabaly different here.
I found nothing on youtube about this particular accord edition.
