I want to put a turbo kit on my Accord(specs in sign.) Its time for an engine rebuild and was wondering what parts would be good to rebuild the engine with. I plan to buy all the parts nessary for the rebuild and the turbo kit, but im taking the car to SuperAuto Bacs to get it all done. Any other sugestions were I could take it? K k so incase you guys missed it, the questions are:

What parts would be good for a rebuild?
and
Anywere in Souther Cali. were i can take it to get it done?
The engine is a F23A1 BTW.

I'm looking to do a similar build to my tC. I found a cheap rebuild with rods, pistons, rings, sleeves, micropolished crank and blueprinting for $3200 plus shipping both ways, so ~$3500. The turbo kit that I want is another $4500 and I haven't even gotten a price to port and polish my head with a 3 angle valve job and boreing 1mm over ..... springs, valves, retainers, rockers, etc. I expect the head work to cost about $800 and parts another $500-600. So for this total job, I expect a bottom line of ~$9400.

I'll probably do the head work first and save the re-build and turbo until the powertrain warrantee runs out in 2 years.

^ Dang! That's almost what you paid for the car! Can I come to your house and pick some of that money off your money tree?

sanchdaniel - As far as the rebuild goes.....why don't you call a Honda shop and ask them what parts you need to buy for a rebuild?
