recent engine swap
I have a 94 honda accord lx and i recently got a f22b1 vtec out a 95 accord ex I was wondering will this engine work in my 94 accord lx and if so am i suppose to use the engine wires to firewall off my old engine or keep and use the ones off the f22b1 vtec engine??

You may have some problems driving the vtec system w/ your old harness. Harness does't have wiring and connectors. I believe others have had to splice in wiring for this system. Not too difficult is my recollection. A search should yield some results on this problem.

Something's missing if it's not running. Suggest attempting to start w/ 3-5 second spray of throttle body cleaner or starter fluid. If no kick-over of engine, spark is suspect even if you're seeing spark jump gap on a spark plug. Suggest testing spark w/ a timing light on one or more spark plug leads. No flash means no spark in cylinder.
After an engine installation it's easy to leave important ground leads loose. Check ground at thermostat housing as this enables spark.
If engine kicks over, then spark is good and fuel pressure/delivery is suspect. Check ignitors are firing, fuel pressure.
