Serious Idle problems after major work (pics)

Will do.
I have done a bit of research and it seems it is very common for this to happen after the car sits. The IACV sticks, then the car senses the throttle is closed and brings it back down, then it goes back up, and repeats.

I will try cleaning it out, hopefully it doesnt need to be replaced.

The IACV is on the throttle body on this accord right?

It was the rotary style idle air control valve.
I cleaned it out and car idled normally.

Unfortunately it had been messed with before and the screw heads were 'stripped' (why do car companies choose to use philips head screws over bolts???)
So it was a longer than necessary job to drill out the stock screws and put in new bolts.

Just sent the car on its way to the new owner
