Default Short block

Hi! I'm new here, so I'm not sure if I'm in the right forum, but here goes. I bought a 1987 honda accord lxi to rebuild, minimally I hoped. I won't bore you with what all I replaced, but when I finished with the radiator, I found out it had a blown head casket. By the way, this is the hatchback withfuel-injected engineand a 5 speed transmission. I had the heads machined and put on all new gaskets. That's when I found out the rings are shot. Smoke pours out the back. I've had more than a few fingers pointed my way, especially after sitting at a light in traffic. I've been doing a google search to find the short block to replace, but haven't really found someone who has it. Any suggestions on where I can acquire this? I put a few hundred miles on it since the head fiasco---had to for work, and I got 33, then 36.5 miles per gallon, so I want to keepit. It's really fun to drive. Any and all responses will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
