slip when turning ONLY?
[align=left]okay, so for a while my auto's been slippin going in a staright line, gear to gear. but i notice that when i turn adn try to get on it at the same time, as to accelerate outta a turn, it REALLY slips then grabs and snaps the tranny into gear, almost as if the car is in neutral for a second or two while im turning. one of my buddies mentioned it could be the torque converter, i have no idea. what would you guys think it could be?

check tranny fluid level, if it is good, add a little any way, but not to the point of being over the max with honda tranny fluid. If that doesnt help you are probably going to have to rebuild the transmission. DO NOT flush the transmission if you have not been doing it regularly, it will kill it almost imediately, if there is no honda transmission fluid in there, replace it, your seals are hardening and causing the slipping... not good, you may just need to rebuild it if that is the case. If it is a 98-02 there was a recall on the transmission, but you are most likely not eligable for it, it was costing honda alot of money, and they put some pretty stringent mileage and time limitations on it. If you have tried all of that, you are probably experiencing warn or hardened seal, and you are going to need to rebuild it soon, letting it go to long will cause un-necessary ware on the gears and other associated moving parts inside there.
Good luck
hope it is just the fluid level... or type of fluid

yeah, ive tried the fluid, changing it, NOT flushing it. didnt help. exactly what seals are you talking about? i got a quote for a rebulid, tq conv, and tax & labor...2800 bucks. so im trying to figure out if thats the only thing left to do.
