Default Sputtering real bad

I have a 92 accord with a 2.2 and 271 on the clock....lately, I've had a problem. When I start the car, it sputters real bad, after a few minutes it goes away. Recently, the sputtering has been getting worse and it does it even when I'm driving. I had it looked at and it looks like I have oil in my plugs, probably a couple cracked plugs. I had the fuel pressure regulator checked out, its not that, the vacuum hose is dry. I just changed my oil and saw no signs of coolant in it, and my exhaust looks the same as it did 2 years ago, not the head gasket. I am doing a timing belt, valve cover gasket and a handful of seals in a week....would a cracked plug cause this misfiring ? and if so, why is it getting worse, lack of spark ?

Cracked sparkplug, or oil down in the sparkplug tubes will certainly cause that misfiring. Get those things fixed first, 'cause they're normal required maintenance anyway. Once a cracked plug establishes a tracking-arc, it'll only get worse over time.

Use NGK plugs, Hondas seem to like those best.
