Default A squirrel Chewed My 2013 Accord Evap Lines

A squirrel chewed through the fuel filler vent line (fuel tank to filler pipe assy) and the tank vapor line (fuel tank to evap canister) on my 2013 Accord. It looks like those lines only come with a new gas tank.

Is there a way to splice the lines with a new section of line, a coupling and perhaps a clamp or two?

I have not taken it to a dealer or a shop yet but i can only assume that this will be big bucks if there is no work-around solution.

Thanks!

Default Sucess!

I figured out a work-around. Fortunately I was able to fit a 5/16" inner diameter fuel line and a clamp over the damaged overflow line. I was also able to fit a 1" ID line over the evap purge line. All is once again air tight. No more "Check gas cap" and check engine light for less than $20!

Did you have to remove the tank to repair?
