Default Starter won't start!

Hey there, I have a 90 Accord LX. Maybe someone can help. The car won't start. I can only push start it which works great. Jumping doesn't do it either. I took out the starter and had it tested at the auto store, and it worked fine. I replaced the battey cable going to the starter with no luck. The interior lights and radio work fine. I only hear a click as I step in on the clutch and try to start it. Any ideas??????thanks!

There is a safety switch on the clutch that only allows the car to start when the clutch is depressed. If it goes bad=no start. You can either replace the switch or bypass it.
