When i am driving the car wont take 3rd gear somtimes it will go in but when you push the gas you can hear it spinning but it wont go, most of the time when you start to let the clutch out it will throw it back out of gear people were telling me to check the shift linage but i didnt think it was that so iam trying to get another idea before i get to work. F22 manual

 

I am having the exact same problem. Any help would be Awesome! I was thinking someone screwed up the teeth on third gear. I checked the linkage and it seems ok.

 

i think your tranny is is going up. You migh have to get a new tranny or get urs rebuilt.

 

You could have a bad synchronizer, bad 3rd gear, or both. It's likely that it will have to be torn down to investigate. How old is the lube?
