Default Transmission problems with brand new Accord

Hello this is my first post here but I've been following along for a while. I leased a new '13 accord coupe and have had it for about 11 months. I took it in to the dealership the othe day to get an oil change and they told me that they found a transmission leak but they don't know where and to bring it in in a few days. Took it today and they looked at it again and couldn't find it and said that they need to remove the transmission and take it apart to find the leak. They also said that they might have to replace the transmission. You can believe my shock hearing this about a brand new car, especially a Honda.

Is this something that someone else has experience with the leak and transmission problems? Or are they just trying to mess with me? The car is still under warranty (duh) so I wouldn't pay anything. It seems to drive fine and I didn't notice any transmission fluid on my driveway so that's why I'm questioning it. It does seem to feel weird sometimes driving at 5-10 mph like its trying to accelerate but someone is switching gears to a lower gear, but this is in bumper to bumper in traffic and it only happens every now and then, but I assumed that was cause of the cvt.

Thanks for any help everyone

I would be very suspicious and cautious. More harm can be done by pulling trans.

Lease terms may suggest who makes the final decision on issue like this.

good luck

Take it to a different dealer.
