Alright, so I'm a new guy to these forums, but I have a few questions.
I have a f23a1 motor, and I bought a h23a1 5 speed transmission. I also went into my local tuner shop today and bought a exedy stage 1 organic clutch kit with a nice exedy flywheel to go with it.
My head is being ported and polished right now, I'm probably going to swap my F series pistons for some K series, since they're interchangable.

Basically I'm just trying to make sure before I boost this car, that this motor's going to not blow. And that the gearing will be good for boosting applications. I heard that h23's are somewhat short geared, and I'm not sure if I wanna boost it, or just start a N/A build.

the h23 gears are a good middle point. Not too long like the f series and not as short as the h22 gears. So either way you go N/A or F/I your fine
