Vtec Block

Default Vtec Block

Hey i own a 94 accord sedan thats a five speed. it is a non-vtec engine f22b2. i was wondering if i could make it vtec by dropping a top vtec block on the top of it. yes??? no???? i have heard both. thanx

Hmmm. Well if you drop an engine block on your engine, you will likely break things. However, if you mean "can I put a vtec cylinder head on my non-vtec F22B2 and make it a vtec?" then the short answer is yes. But you will need the head and everything it entails, along with some (if not all) of the wiring from the vtec engine, and most likely the ecu out of the vtec car as well. But it can be done!

i Rather just get a new engine then doing all that stuff. Myabe a h22 or if you wanna stick with f seris engine then f23A1

h22 head on a f23 is better than a h22 all around... h22 bottom end sucks...
