Vtec solenoid...

Default Vtec solenoid...

was told that its my vtec solenoid thats leaking...very inexpensive... but its been leakin for say..about...6 months...leak isnt big...maybe about a quarter size every 4 or 5 hours...what damage can a leaking vtec solenoid cause??

your valves will collide with your crank, causing a massive explosion in your subframe chamber, which could damage your exhaust bearing

I have no clue, hope somebody will help...I would just fix it.

Easy to fix. Most likely you can just get a new gasket where the valve bolts to the head.

No damage except the oily stain on your driveway. Unless of course you let the engine run completely out of oil...
