I'm new, so please forgive...

bought a 96 EX 2.2L auto with a light oil leak. Didn't mind adding a quart every month, but it's a quart a week now. Noticed the fast leak coming from the VTEC Solenoid Assembly and ordered the figure 8 gasket. Since the old gasket was flat and hard plastic, I assumed it wasn't the gasket and I should just 'add' my new one. Broke one of the three tips of the triangle mounting plate (top/lid of the assemly?)

I've seen entire assemblies on ebay for Civic's and some look like mine..

Question: Can anyone tell me years and models that share this assembly so I can search ebay and local salvage yards more efficiently?

I'm just not up on the F22B1 vs .... lingo

 

Searched the OEM part number for the solenoid on hondapartsnow[dot]com

Did you break the bolt? You may be able to extract it.
