I have a 2000 accord v6 automatic. 212000 miles. car is in great shape but has a problem shifting from 3rd gear to 4th gear. You can start out in first gear and manually shift it to 2nd then build a little speed and skip 3rd and go into 4th and it does fine, but if you shift it in 3rd there is nothing. There are no noises in the tranny. I heard that it might be a solenoid? Is this true and which solenoid would I replace? The car is not throwing any codes. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

 

Test the ones you can find. You should have somewhere between 12-25 ohms of resistance.

I have a 98 accord and when u put it in 1st gear it drives fine but once u try and put it in second gear there's nothing there almost like its in neutral but I drove it from first and shifted it to third and it takes awhile to catch but when it does it drives fine

 

How is the fluid level in the transmission?

 

Marcos, is yours a V-6 automatic like the original poster? If not, is it automatic or manual transmission?

I only ask because you talk about shifting 1st to 2nd to 3rd...
