01 Accord EX Trans hard shift/lever sticking

My 01 accord ex (automatic) shifts hard from 1st to 2nd and back down. I've been told this is pretty common but now the gear lever is starting to stick when going from park to drive. Any advice?

Sounds like it needs some kind of lubrication on the gear lever..maybe some will come in who has had that problem and they might have the correct fix for you..

Hard to move to shifter lever park to drive could be cause by bad shifter cable from your transmission to the shifter lever itself. How many miles on the car ? Is there check engine light on ?
