So, I have noticed lately that on my accord, when I press the gas, the warning lights and the gear indicator dims. If I let off the gas, the lights brighten back up. Once I get over 60 mph, the lights stay bright no matter if im in the gas or not. I have also noticed that when the headlights are on the warning lights do not dim at any speed or pedal position. Note that none of the other lights act in this behavior, just the warning lights. I have tried to search the forum but to no avail. Has anyone else experienced this?

 

I would have the battery/alternator tested at a parts store to see if one of those items is not working properly. You may want to disconnect the battery and clean all ends of both battery cables.
