I own a 2001 honda accord and the check main't light comes on and it doesn't turn off unless the car is off. My mechanic changed the oil and everything but it's still on I had him check it but he gives me other bullsh*t and stuff. I am very concerned about this I read the '97 accord post (https://www.hondaaccordforum.com/che...m_15208/tm.htm) but i don't know if it also applies to my baby.

 

Is it the maintenance required or the check engine light.

that lite is no big deal,, it take 20 seconds to clear,, It is there to reminder car owners to take car in for service every so often

here is what you do,,,,,,,,,,,,,on the rt lower side of the instrument push in and hold the reset button, turn the key on, hold the button for about 15 seconds and the lite will clear,,
if it is still there , repeat the procedure
