02 accord: dash lights flashed, engine died
'02 Accord DX; problem happened twice in the last year.
While driving, all dashboard lights flash red, then the engine dies completely.
On first occasion, could remove the key, and then restart.
On second occasion (I was not present), driver says that same symptoms but this time could not remove key from ignition (dash-lights stayed on, not flashing). Engine would not restart. Vehicle was pushed a short distance; shortly after that, could remove key, and then could restart.
Took to Honda dealer; all they could find was that the fuel relay was running hot.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

I'm suspect of the ignition switch from the description of the problem;
To Prove it you need to have a handy test light and "catch it in the act".
When it won't start, WITH THE KEY ON , check for power on the Black/yellow wire at the coil.
Or power at fuse #6 [15 amp] drivers side dash fuse box.
You are needing to find out if the engine is losing spark or fuel pressure.
