Default 02 Accord EX with Climate Control fan only blows on high

I have replaced the Blower Motor resistor, Fan and Dash control panel on my 02 Accord EX v6 with climate control. Are there any other components that fail in this system? Any other things to check?

There is a procedure for checking HVAC codes. Look up link in the common diy thread on top of the gen tech help forum.

You may need to do some electrical testing on the wiring to figure out what is going on. I'll have to take a look at the wiring diagram to figure out how your system is wired.

I have a descent reader and didn't notice any HVAC codes when I checked.

I found this link for testing I was going to try but it only rules out the blower motor resistor.

Thanks for the reply. I did find the test procedure and it came back ok. So I did some more investigating and found a previous owner cut and spliced the wires running to the blower resistor. They did a horrible job splicing. It was wrapped in black tape just like the rest of the wires in that area so it took me a while to realize.

Wish I could attach a pic of it. A big fire hazard.
