Default 02 Accord Mtnce Rqrd Light on....

Does anyone know how to manually check when your maintnence required light is on. Like i mean how to find out what the problem is, or do i have to take it into someone to do a diagnostic test on it. Its running great, its a 5 speed and there is no problem that i know of right now with the car. If anyone can help that would be great! Thanks!

the maintenence required light on my 3/2 tl goes off when it needs an oil change, and then can be reset from the dash at any time. i think its the equivalent of that green orange red light on old school accords where you put the key in and it resets. if its your check engine light then you have a problem though.

maintenence lite is set to come on evry 7.5k miles,, to remind customer that car is do for service.......it is no big deal and will NOT cause any problems at all..,, To clear it, hold the reset button in the instrument cluster, put the key on, don't let go of the button .. lite will blink 2 times and then it will be off ..it takes about 15 seconds ,,
