02 Accord,Plugs,Wires cap & Rotor, Help selecting
Hi, I have been changing the plugs, wires, cap n rotor every 50,000 Miles, I have used factory parts. Any suggestions on other brands? Maybe NGK wires or something, Can I get part numbers so I could order from amazon or something. Thanks
Every 50,000 miles sounds a bit aggressive; any particular reason for changing those components so often?
FWIW, I'm inclined to use either OEM parts or high-end after market parts from a source like Napa.

It's easier for me to order from amazon. I have had problems with plug's seizeing in aluminum heads before so I like to change them sooner then needed. 50,000 miles is a few years for me so it is no big deal.
I would opt for the exact plug specified by Honda; check your Owner's Manual. As a general rule, the plug recommended by the folks that designed the engine will always out perform any other plug regardless of the exotic metals or the boutique nature of the (plug) manufacturer.
Probably platinum is the stock plug, so that's what I would get.
Honda factory plug wires seem to last forever, so I probably wouldn't change them so often. I would take off the cap & rotor whenever I change plugs, & look to see if they need to be replaced.
It's beyond what you actually asked, but many people forget about changing anti-freeze & brake fluid.

If you have a Honda cap and rotor in there, leave them. They last a long time. The OEM plug for your car is a NGK Platinum PZFR5F-11. Just follow the maintenance schedule for them in your owners manual. I believe it is every 105K miles. Just use antiseize on the threads when you install plugs. If you are worried, just remove the plugs at 50K miles and put on new anti-seize.
