02 Honda Accord Fuel Filter ?

Default 02 Honda Accord Fuel Filter ?

Hi, i am changing out my fuel tank on my 02 Accord, I ordered # 1 and # 7 one is a Plastic housing I don't see a filter and Number 7 is a mesh looking like netting, is that all there is for the filter?

Is number 7 the only fuel filter?

What is #1 then?

#1 appears to be an internal fuel filter in the pump assy. I have no experience w/ this model, but am aware of this arrangement on other cars (Toyota).

Number one is just a plastic tube, I did not get any type of filtering material with it.

There isn't a normal fuel filter; it's just the mesh bag for the pump inlet. They say don't replace it unless you actually measure problems with fuel pressure. But you're changing the tank, so you already have to do the big part of the job anyway.
