Exclamation 03 Accord CLUTCH/PEDAL Engagement ISSUE

Recently replace entire Clutch (flywheel, clutch disc, pressure plate and throw-out bearing), Master & Slave cylinder due to low engagement clutch pedal and difficulty shifting between gears.

From neutral or park position vehicle would stall out when initiating engagement of 1st or Reverse. If parked in gear, clutch would engage although still had difficulty between gears (1,2,3,4,5).

After replacement, problem still remains! Any ideas what the issue may be? Any and all help appreciated!

Thank you!

Check whether slave cylinder is fully extending. If not suspect air in the system due to inadequate bleeding.

good luck

Thank you TexasHonda!

What would be considered fully extended?

I could not find any spec on slave cylinder extension. I would guess 1-1.5 inches. You could bleed the clutch circuit.

good luck
