03 Honda Accord right brake light not working.tail light works
trying to figure out if I have an electricial issue or what not really a mechanical guy.brake lights work but when I press on the brake the right one doesn’t light up.The bulb is good. Also when I first bought the car about a week later the radio went out but the heater controls still work.just replaced the alternator but this issue existed before that.
the car is a 2003 Honda ex 247,000 miles got it for $2,000😩

Did you swap the bulbs from left to right to confirm the bulb or some other method?
Both sides share common inputs so if the bulb is good you will be chasing a wire issue....RED/BLK is the power wire and the BLK is ground. So with a test light/volt meter you will want to test them at the socket and see what you have.

Yes I swapped the sockets but neither are working now even when I put them back to there original sides, the brake light in the window still works.I was hoping it wouldn’t be any wire issues,I could imagine that would be pretty costly.Im trying to figure if it could be a brake switch issue or maybe a fuse.

It wouldn't be a fuse or the brake switch, as your high mount brake light and left brake light work.
Check for corrosion of the bulb socket terminals. Also check the condition of the wires.
Get a multi-meter or voltmeter. With the brake pedal depressed, measure voltage (+) on the White/Black (wire with white color insulation and a black stripe running through it) wire terminal of the right brake light socket terminal. If there is ~ 12 volts at the Wht/Blk wire terminal and the bulb is okay, then the issue may be due to the ground wire side.
The bulb is a dual filament bulb (one filament for the tail light, and another separate filament for the brake light).
