I never read any symptoms of a wheel bearing in your post such as a noise that changes when you change lanes.

I had the same issue with my 04 Accord until I had both axles replace today and now it drives great.

I am not saying he is wrong, only that you never gave us any symptoms of a wheel bearing. We do the best we can with information provided.

i was going to say it might be inner cv joints issue ,worn suspension parts, out of balance wheels ,,,,,,,wheel bearing ?? to be this worn, i would think that it would make one heck of a howling noise

Yea I will let you guys know when I take it into the transmission shop. I know it is definetly not out of balance wheels because I have had all 4 balanced twice.

Thanks for helping out

The last thing I would do is take it to a transmission shop. Find a good independent mechanic.

Does anyone know of a good independent mechanic in the western suburbs of Chicago?

Well C750Flyer the transmission shop said it is a bad axle...is this hard to replace? Could I do it myself? What is the normal cost to get it done? Would it be better to do it at the Honda dealer, transmission shop (where it is right now) or a independent mechanic that I have never used before?

“And the census says...it is my right front wheel bearing...I have to take it to a transmission shop to get it checked out...
Well C750Flyer the transmission shop said it is a bad axle...is this hard to replace?”

I am confused
