04 Accord Sedan Trunk Will Not Open
Trunk won't open. I suspect a sticky latch. I put the back seat down, and the metal latch inside the trunk holding it closed does not move. Won't open with the key on the outside of the trunk, the lever on the driver's side, or the release from within the trunk.
Perhaps it just needs to be lubricated? Is there any cheap and easy way to make it work again?

A few weeks ago, I did hear the "click" sound, but the trunk didn't open. I banged on it a few times, and then it opened. This time, I am not hearing any click sound at all, so that's why I suspect that it just needs to be lubed up. Would WD-40 be fine? Any particular place I should spray it? Mind you, this would be done from inside the trunk through the back seat...
