Default Door and Trunk Open Monitor on 2008 Accord EX-L 3.5L V6 Sedan

Hello Forum.

I wonder if anyone can share some thoughts on the following issue which began this morning. I have a 2008 Accord EX-L 3.5L V6 sedan with 120,000kms. The door and trunk open monitor suddenly started coming on this morning for the front passenger door even though it is firmly closed. It seems that whenever the vehicle leans to the right the warning light will come on together with the interior lights. My very humble layman's opinion leads me to believe a loose connection of some description within the door may be the culprit. Any thoughts or feedback gratefully received.

If it only indicates the passenger door opened, then check the door switch. See this thread:

Thanks so much redbull-1. As the passenger door warning is intermittent, I would like to think that there is something lose / stuck within the switch unit which can be corrected (as apposed to replacing it). I'll take a look later today and will report back. Either way I very much appreciate your help.
