Hello all, my wife and I have an 04 accord ex that has a starting issue. When the key is held in the start position, the starter engages then disengages after less than a second or so and it will continue doing this engage/disengage pattern until it starts or I let go of the key. It will eventually start. It just started this about 2 weeks ago and it does it every time we try to start it regardless of temp, or weather conditions (humidity doesn't affect it). Any ideas or has anyone else experienced this? Thanks in advance.

 

Kind of sounds like the starter is giving out?

I'd pull and clean the battery cables, be sure they are clean and tight.....be sure you have the radio/nav code before pulling the cables.
