Default 04 EX radio display lights.........

The display lights on our 04 Accord EX are not working properly. The lights normally are bright during the day with the headlights off. Then when you turn the headlights on they would normally dim down. Todaythe radio display lights were working fine. After dinner we get back in and the radio lights areonlydim. When you turn the headlights on and off the displaylights do not changeat all. They stay dim.

Any ideas??

Default RE: 04 EX radio display lights.........

The dimmer **** has a spot that will automatically dim the dash lights when the headlights are turned on. If the **** is at the max, the dash will stay full bright when the headlights are on (like for city nite-time driving). If the **** is turned to the next spot (you will feel it), the dash is full bright during the day, but dimmed when the headlights come on. If the **** is off that spot, the dash will be dimmed regardless of whether the headlights are on or off.

Hope that makes sense.

The dash light are still fine. It is the clock, radio, andac/heater controlback lights that are not coming on.
