Default 06 Accord brake noise

I just replaced the shoes and drums and now when I brake it makes a t t t t t noise, the harder I push the louder it gets. Not sure if the noise is coming from the rear but assume yes. Any advice?

Redo them. You didn't put something on right. Make sure you bolt everything down tight. I don't know the torque specs because I never use them.

If you're not sure, you might be able to confirm its the rear by pulling the handbrake to see if the sound changes. If it does, then you know it's not only the rear, but specifically the brakes.

Sometimes its simple like the backing plate being a little bent & rubbing.

Nothing to bolt down, will take apart and check. I tried using emergency brake and it went up quite a ways before it engaged and took a long time to stop and no noise. I pulled really hard and there was a little noise and when I released the brake the noise stayed for a bit. Drum is a good ways from the backer plate but I think the drum kind of goes in a groove and may be rubbing there, not sure but hopefully I see something obvious when i pull it apart. Just drove 600km.

I just finished taking it apart and everything was pretty good. The drivers side was a little tight so I loosened the adjuster but that was it. Now one thing I did notice was the adjuster on the passenger site has a few more turns on it to get it adjusted. Took it for a drive and same noise. I'm at a loss now and the only thing I can think of is possible a warped or bad drum. Comments please.

Any more suggestions? The noise is annoying but not sure what to do. I'm worn out taking this apart, I've had both my knees replaced so not able to kneel which means I have to do a one handed push up to get down and up, knuckle is worn out, lol. Like I said above, the only odd thing is one adjuster has more turns to get the shoes adjusted and even after adjusting them the emergency brake goes up 3 or 4 clicks before resistance, Most of the setup looks straight forward and the only thing that could be wrong is the adjuster forks, one fork is longer on both sides and they go to the front according to the way it was and the videos I have watched.

Is the nose happening all the time or only when you are braking?

If all the time, jack up the back of the car and spin the tires to identify the tire/brakes making the noise.

Only when braking. No pulsing or vibration and stops well. You don\t hear it until fairly slow speed. If I ride the break the noise stays consistent but can't tell where it is coming from.

Try driving slow in a parking lot, dragging the brake, while a helper stands alongside to listen. Pinpoint it to one side or the other. Then at least you'll know which side to concentrate on. Might be something going on with the brackets & springs that hold the brake shoes in place? I wish I had any better ideas...

As for the adjuster having more threads visible on 1 side versus the other, that's a non issue, because it could be that either the drum is a little more worn, or the brake shoes on that side are a little more worn, or even that side is set a little tighter.
So far, I can't think of anything that would cause a slow speed noise when the brakes are applied. I suppose you could put the rear up in the air, and have a helper put the brakes on lightly while you spin the tire. Maybe that might help determine which side is making the noise. You could try using the hand brake to see if it does it too. Otherwise I'm out of ideas.
