Default 06 accord brakes - drum to disc

I have all the parts from another 06 car and am going to switch the drum brakes to disk brakes on the rear. I would have figured for sure the proportioning valve was different and would have to be swapped out as well, and maybe even the master cylinder. I went to Honda with the two VINS and they told me the master and proportioning valve are the same. Does anyone know if this is true for sure, it just doesn't make sense since disks run at a different pressure?

thanks.

If those 2 VINs show the same part numbers, then it's OK.

It's possible for disks & drums to be at the same pressure, if certain design decisions are made that way. Piston area & leverage between pistons & shoes can be coordinated properly so they're the same. Not always, not for every car in the world, but it's possible.
