My '06 Accord was purchased in 01/09. During the 30k service (10/09) I reported that the engine seemed to be missing on one or more cylinders. The dealer replaced two engine mounts.

Since that time, I get a constant vibration through the steering wheel when in reverse or drive gears. And, intermittently, the engine shudders two times in a row when shifting into reverse, or shudders when braking. I know it's not a rotor problem as I am aware of the feeling through the steering wheel.

I've owned two 2002 Accord V6 Coupes that ran smooth as silk. And I know there is something wrong. I'm bringing it back to the dealer to keep for 24 hours to check (and I will ask to drive a used '05 V6 Coupe on their lot for comparison).

Does anybody have similar problems or suggestions?

 

It sounds like there is something up with the motor mounts that they installed. You might want to have the dealership check out the mounts they installed.
