Default 07 accord ex start up issue

Tonight i was going to drive the 07 accord and when i tried to start it, it would turn over and everything normally but the dash and low beams would flash and you can hear the turn over slowing down. I checked the battery it seemed fine, no dirt or corrosion and tightly connected and i checked the engine oil and the line is at the first dot. Could this issue be caused by that? i am going to change the oil today but what could cause this issue?

Never mind Goodson Honda sent a tow truck to pick up the car. Excellent service, truck driver was friendly and straight to the point took no more than a minute.

It is likely a failed battery. Early failure happens sometimes. Let us know what you find.

good luck

I have been looking up on this and we tried to jump it but that didn't work either and after my brother stopped turning the key my car shut off. I hope it is just a bad battery, i will let you guys know what the problem was when we get the car back.

There is a security system which might be activated by a weak battery and disable starting. Earlier models reset by arming/disarming the security.

good luck

Yea i was thinking it was the caused by the key and immobilizing the car since the key has a specific frequency and the car reads it or whatever. I tried to use the other spare keys and the valet key which is just a bare key and that didn't work.

Well the problem was the battery and they tried to charge us for towing but we were told it was under warranty and i told the person that and we didn't have to pay. I expected that but just glad we didn't have to pay for anything and should get the car back today. Thank you for the help.
