Hello everyone
I just bought a 09 Accord 4door LX-P.
Awesome car, I was looking into a corolla and thank god I did not get that.

This car is really great, but I am having an issue.

The issue is that right before I turn the key to start the car I hear a strange noise.
The point when the noise comes is between the ON(lights, radio, etc.) and the ignition, more closer to the ignition. The noise sounds like something you would get if you were to try to start a car which was ALREADY started...

Anybody know what is going on?

PS I don't think it matters if its cold start or not, if I just can get the key in the right position it will make the sound, turning it a bit further will start the car NP.

 

Sounds can be fun......I will admit I am reaching here. Have the ground cable checked.....have seen/read where you can get a "clicking" noise from them....I stated this is a reach.
