Hey i just bought a 1977 Honda accord ccvc. The body is in excellent condition, original paint and everything. I was wondering though what my options would be for an engine upgrade. the current motor works fine but i would like a little more power. the problem i have run into though is they say if i get a newer motor they will have to fabricate the mounts and some other extensive work. Anyone have any suggestions?
They aren't lying to you about having to fab up mounts to change to another engine for more power; as well as trans mounting and axles it's more trouble than it's worth.
If you wanted something with lots of power why didn't you just go buy a chevy with a 350?
I did see one at a show in Ky that had a lude twin cam pgmfi engine. The guy said he had around $30k in the car.
So just bring me the car and ...hmmmm lets say $25k and I'll put together the street racer/sleeper you want. LMAO
PS: [When you go to change out the prechamber seals use a punch to put a dent in the copper sealing ring, thats the only way you'll get it to come up out of the hole.]
