i bought this car from my cousin, who said it ran good but wouldn't, idel. but when i got it home it dont run good at all, if you keep pating the gas, it will run good then it will start cutting out. i think this may be the fuel system needing cleaned but i am not sure. any in put would be greatly appre.

 

look in the DIY section for troubleshooting tips. You need to figure out what the problem is; there are 4 choices and 1 is ruled out already. Air, fuel, spark and compression. Air is ruled out because it CAN run.

 

First an most iportant ,, input all the info regarding your car in your signature ,,that way i would not have to ask the next question

is it carburated or fuel injected??
