Angry 1990 honda accord coupe f22a4 hydro clutch issues

Hello everyone,
my honda accord's master cylinder went out on me. I have all the hardware installed, i am having a hell of an issue getting pressure in the clutch, i can almost get enough pressure in it, but its not enough to shift, i have a pressure bleeder that i am using, (pressure bleeding from the slave) and i just cant seem to get enough pressure, (both slave and master are new btw)
I am thinking it may have something to do with my push rod adjustment, anyone have issues with their systems when doing a change like this, this is my first time messing with this stuff, and have been working on it for a good three months, just getting frustrated, not sure where to go from here any words of wisdom? thanks guys.

After small adjustments to my pushrod, and bleeding with a hand pump pressure bleeder, my buddy and I were able to get it shifting smooth as butter. If anyone encounters it, the smallest amount of adjustment to that pushrod can make all the difference, I wasted so much time on stuff that it didn't need, when I just needed to adjust that. I learned the hard way, so now maybe you wont have to lol. Feels good to have figured it out on my own, and not given up and taken it to a shop.

Well congrats, you have it figured out. But I'm going to add a couple more hints to benefit people who find this by searching. The first 2 things can apply to brakes also.

Pushrod adjustment by-the-book. You've discovered the hydraulic clutch doesn't like to be adjusted to personal preference.

Bench-bleed the master cylinder before installing it. This works fluid into all the small volumes of the MC to make it easier to bleed when its installed.

Work the pedal with a string tied around the pedal. When bleeding, you loose the spring that pushes the pedal back up. Tie a string around the pedal to pull it back up but use your foot to control the pedal. DON'T let it snap quickly back up; for some reason this tends to suck air into the system.
