Default 1991 accord shifting problem now no reverse

I recently purchased a 1991 accord ex automatic for 500 bucks. The lady said the transmission was shot. I checked it out and all that was wrong was that the TCU had gone bad. I replaced the tcu and the car has been driving fine.
The only shifting problem the car has had before and after the new tcu was that when you shift it into gear you have to pull slightly passed whatever gear you want for it to engage into that gear.

Well I've only put 500 miles since i installed the new tcu. I got into the car the other day and had to use my key to unlock the shiftlock to get my car into gear. It would not go into reverse. it would go forward in every gear. No reverse no neutral. I cannot get a code from the tcu. Does anyone have any ideas?

EDITED TO ADD THE FOLLOWING:
The symptoms it is having now are not the same as the symptoms the car had with the bad tcu when i bought the car.
The "S'' Light is not staying on as it did with the old bad tcu.

The TCU you i purchased to fix the car was used and pulled from a 1991 accord ex just like mine.

Also. If I put the car in park and crank the car it will start to go forward.

Copy and paste the link below in your browser. Maybe adjusting the shift cable helps fix the problem.

Here is the link for the entire manual:
