I'm new here and only joined as I'm hoping to become one of you Accord owners.

I am about to sell my bmw e39 diesel and get an accord 2003-2006 petrol.

Since I do not know much about japaneese cars I need you to tell me which model and engine version to go for.

I'd like the 2.4 as the most powerfull but not sure which version offers best reliability etc.
Also not sure if I want estate or saloon. Is there much difference in terms of comfort, noise etc?

What's the best buy??

Not sure there's much reliability difference between the different sizes of K-series engine. I guess you don't get the V-6 engine over there?

And we never got the estate (wagon) over here during those years.

Yeah I'm in the UK and no we don't have the V6... too bad

Since posting this I've been searching opinions on the net and it seems that reliability is not an issue with the 7th gen Accords.

I'm tempted with the 2.4 petrol.

Let me know the cons of having an Accord as pros are easy to see
